My Release Is Appearing On The Wrong Spotify Artist Page/Account

If you find your release on the incorrect Spotify Artist page, here are the steps to resolve it:

  1. Ensure you're logged into your Spotify for Artists account.

  2. Make sure your Spotify for Artists profile is verified (look for the blue check-mark). If it's not verified yet, you can complete this directly within your Spotify for Artists account.

  3. Visit the form at https://artists.spotify.com/c/content-mismatch.

  4. Select "Some of my music is on another artist’s profile".

  5. Provide details about where your release is currently appearing incorrectly and where it should be appearing instead.

This process will help Spotify correct the placement of your music within their platform.

If you find a release on your Spotify/ Spotify For Artists page that doesn't belong to you, here’s what you can do:

  1. Ensure you're logged into your Spotify for Artists account.

  2. Make sure your Spotify for Artists profile is verified (look for the blue check-mark). If it's not verified yet, you can do this directly in your Spotify for Artists account.

  3. Go to this form: https://artists.spotify.com/c/content-mismatch.

  4. Select "Another artist’s release is on my profile".

  5. Verify the email address and artist name(s) associated with your account.

  6. Identify the release that does not belong to you.

  7. Spotify advises that it may take up to 15 business days to process a disassociation request.
